There's a natural pest control company I used that did a better job than any other I've used. Google Florida Natural Pest Control and they should come up.

Chris, carpenter ants don't actually eat wood . They chew through it while foraging for food they do eat which is sugar and protein . Main protein source is dead or live insects . Crickets, termites, aphids, etc. . If the triplex is a wooden structure I'd be more concerned with what the carpenter ants are after and get a good termite bond with a reputable, licensed Integrated Pest
