Skidaway Island has a shuttle that will take you into Savannah.We were there last year nice park.State park so if you have pass get discount.The shuttle will drop you off and you can pick up another one whenever you want

I second (or third or fourth, lost count) Skidaway Island. Love it there but didn't know about the shuttle. Red Gate Campground will put you the closest to downtown Savannah.
