I have 4 animals and they all go to Bartram Trail Vet. I can't say enough good things about them. We adopted a kitten last year that was so sick we thought he would die and they nursed him back to health after many many visits there and several of the visits they didn't even charge me for because he was so sick for so long. He is fat and happy now!

We have a Dane and she goes to Murabella Animal Hospital and she loves it there. Also our Dane was on Blue Buffalo for over a year and then developed an allergy to it. Her skin broke out and became very dry. We have been trying new foods for her.

If you can swing it, University of Florida Small Animal Hospital in Gainesville is really good too. And you don't need a referral either. You can make your own appt.

Murabella Animal Hospital is great! Make sure he doesn't have fleas. Fleas can cause anemia and make the dogs have seizures.

I would NOT recommend Jackson Vet. Hosp. on the island. We had a couple of bad expierences there. (2 I'll never forgive them for.) We've been going to Animal Wellness Center on CR207, between CR312 and US1, for several years and have been very happy with them.
