I use the Animal Emergency in St. Augustine on old Moultrie. Dr. Williams is great. Tammy is one of the receptionists. I am sure they will work out a payment plan. Have you been able to keep the eye moistened? Poor thing.

Visited Shelton Clinic to make an appt. The staff did not acknowledge I was even there. Another customer ahead of me in line showed more concern than the staff! I was not impressed with the service. Sugar Sands staff were awesome! They were not only compassionate they wenr over the top to assure my comfort at this emotional time. The Dr. was. just as caring,, it was closing time and she said ro take all the time I needed. The staff & Dr were excellent! I brought my baby home to bury him. Thank you all for your help .

Flagler Animal Hospital and Safe Haven have been wonderful to me and my wife. Dr Friedberg in ormond will do it cheaper I've heard. He probably won't require lab work and other things your vet is recommending because you do not know the pet medical history.

I have an English Bull Dog, Last year she had to have 7 teeth pulled... It was around 500, but if it had been less teeth, it would have been cheaper... The vet is on Old Kings Rd. and Utility Dr. In that plaza.. Last I went their visits were only 50 dollars too.. Alot more reasonable than any of the others... Hope this helps.. I am sure your baby is in pain...:(

Sheltons in Bunnell, or Pine Lakes Animal Hospital. Whatever you do, don't go to Sugar Sands. The owner is very money hungry and the staff isn't highly trained. They will end up draining your wallet clean if you're not careful!

Shelton Vet clinic is one of the best in the area. They have cared for ALL (chickens,goats,horses,cows,rats,cats,dogs,etc) our animals for almost 20 years. We used to have to make a payment plan with them at almost every visit. We have been fortunate in recent years to be able to pay up front. Give them a call, explain your situation, and ask if they still allow payment plans. ALSO, they will give you a basic price breakdown up-front, then while you are at the office ask what each thing (x-ray, blood test, etc) cost, you can then choose what options you can and cannot afford.

Contact Safe Haven Vetrinary Clinic and ask for the owner/ Vet Dr Stuart. They also have Care Credit and if you qualify, you can make payments via that. Dr Stuart is amazing and I cannot even express how he handles our animals as well as handled one of my dogs, who suffered from cancer. Give them a call!

There is a vet on old kings road next to the car wash. i believe its called Animal Clinic. You won't be able to miss them. They are wonderful, and i know that they can work with you when you need help with payments. My dog actually had to have 2 surgeries there a paper cutter, the old fashion ones came down and cut her tail and they were excellent.

Avoid Pet Smart! I heard Sugar Sands in Bunnell is affordable. We use Pine Lakes, as we have had them for years, back when it was owned by Dr. Shelton. Pine Lakes saved my puppy, on what could have been easily missed!

I love Sugar Sands! Shelton was amazing and worked with people who were short on cash until they changed owners:/.

Palm Coast Pet Clinic Dr. Sheffield, she is the best vet in the area, the entire staff there are super sweet and call you to check in on your pet after you've gone home. You have these big name corporate companies like Banfield and they push out all your community mom and pop places if you will that built the area up in the first place. I will never go anywhere else then to her. I can only tell you to call her, set up an introduction and just take a minute and meet her, talk with her and you will walk out feeling like she's part of your pets family.

Call Dr. Perry Smith in east Palatka 386-328-0327 great vet and prices are cheaper then most. I live in Ormond and drive 50 minutes to his office. He has done surgery (luxating patella) on my dog 3 years ago on her left knee and last October he did her right one. She's doing great!

It's not just a cat disorder. It happens in several species. And it's more common than you think, cats just don't show pain or illness as its instinctual not to. This could be easily taken care of with laser treatments and/or meds with exercise restriction. Atlantic Animal Hospital is an excellent vet and they offer wellness plans for pets as well as accept care credit. Their main office is in Port Orange where they offer normal, emergency, and pet rehab services. Their secondary office is in Ormond Beach. Hope this helps. Good luck
