I have had great success (at several parties I've hosted) with Addantes from Carol Stream. They deliver to St Charles and the food was always tasty, abundant and very economically priced. (Like $10/person). We've generally ordered chicken vesuvio, various pasta dishes, Italian sausage dishes and the chopped salad. http://addantes.com/addantes-catering-menu/

BBQ on wheels in Elgin, they catered our wedding 2 years ago and people are still telling me how much they loved it. 847-741-6374. As far as alcohol goes you can special order through Binnys but they are expensive. We just went and bought everything at Woodman's.
Can anyone recommend either a place to have a sit down dinner for about 25 people - somewhere not super casual but not super formal - in the St. Charles/Geneva vicinity...

Looking for a reasonable caterer for an outdoor wedding in early June. Wanting a rustic feel with good food!!Any suggestions??
Erin M. replied:
Heritage Prairie Farm. I think they'd even use some of Nick's venison if he wanted.
Carolyn A. replied:
When we were considering a farm wedding, we were referred to Mary Catherine. She was incredible to work with pulling together our extravagant ideas into a very workable budget. It was like working with a top dollar wedding planner who knew how to arrange every detail and pull together every resource. We had to reschedule our wedding to a Christmas event, but I used a ton of her recommendations saving thousands of dollars, and continue to use her recommendations every time we host a party. http://www.cuisineamericacatering.
