Tyler Aldridge just because Jim Horn went on a tour with his band MANY MANY years ago, does not mean he is a bad lawyer. As a matter of fact the band is semi-retired. Secondly, you have no idea what you are talking about. Jim is one of the few attorneys in town that takes cases from legal aid, which means he does not get paid a penny for those cases. Lastly, there is nothing wrong with his hair. You sound very bitter.

https://www.osbar.org/public/legalinfo/1133_ChildCustody.htm Read the second paragraph on this page of the bar website. " A court cannot award joint custody in Oregon unless both parents agree to it.". They may have "ordered" it after there was an agreement in mediation.

Hands Down Jim Huffman is the best in town yes sometimes you have to ride him to get stuff done but that's because he is very busy and rarely turns anyone away even if they don't have the money! He truly cares about what he is doing and believes in justice!! Jim Horn is an idiot a crappy lawyer and only cares about getting paid! Him and Huffman as well as several other lawyers used to be part of the same law firm! Huffman broke off to continue helping people and that scum bag Jim Horn went on tour with his shitty band for a few years (no not kidding)! Seriously though Huffman is the best!! Jim Horn is a punk that is in desperate need for a haircut!! Or at least to wash his hair!!!!
I'm concerned that I don't know any local attorneys to help me with an advance directive and Will. Can anyone reccomend anyone local (Scappoose/St. Helens area)?...

Does anyone know if there are any local attorneys who do medical malpractice cases on contingency? I would like to talk to someone about my situation. Thank you!

Jim Huffman n doesn't put up with anything.....
Tyler A. replied:
Michelle Huntley-Summers These type of cases are hard!! My Mom and Grandpa looked into it when a nursing home's negligence killed my grandma!! The problem is if you can find an attorney you have to have tens of thousands of dollars to pay doctors to look over things and testify in court!!! Remember the hospitals have billions of dollars that they have raped people for and good lawyers they bank on people not being able to afford to defend themselves!!! It is beyond sad but it is the way that it is!!! I need surgery but am TERRIFIED to go under the knife because I have never heard anything good about anyone having surgery I know a lot of people LOTS of people and never ONCE have I heard anyone say "ya I went in for surgery and now I am fine". The whole thin is Fuc-ed but it is the way that it is!!!! Sad stuff!!!!
Tanya F. replied:
I would not recommend Jim Huffman for this matter, sorry Kriston.

I need a really good lawyer who will help me w domestic violence & corp job related issues...any Serious lawyers out there,
Michelle M. replied:
Domestic Violence Resources are available. I don't know about the one in this county, but McMinnville, La Grande, and Baker City, and Clackamas County (all in Oregon) all really helped me! I can't imagine SAFE wouldn't be able to help lead you in the right direction. PM me if you need anything or someone to talk to, or someone in your corner. I know I am a stranger to you, but I am a survivor. http://www.safeofcolumbiacounty.org/
Michelle M. replied:
You're welcome Lee Marie. Definitely contact police, and also SAFE, I am confident they can help you. From advice to advocacy and counseling (I don't know where I would be without DV groups), networking, and even safe houses. Someone should always answer if you need to call day or night.

Yes, you first need to fill out an 801 that let's WC know you are filing a claim. Then they have up to 60 days to accept or deny your claim. Be sure that the doctors you chose also take your personal insurance in case it is denied. I work for Doctors that have taken WC claims for almost 30 years. Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation is who I work for
Teri V. replied:
Oh good God, Chuck I hope that you have tuned this all out by now. You don't need an Atty, you need to file a claim. If you hire an Atty he/she will take 25% of anything that try gain for you. The Atty will not represent you out of the goodness of their heart. If you need supportive, informed advice call the Ombudsman For Injured Worker. Her name is Jennifer Flood she is awesome. She can call the adjuster and advocate for you if needed. If you need an Atty she will tell you so. Call Jennifer 503-378-3351
This is not a concern. I have two questions. Is there a low cost bankruptcy attorney in Saint Helens or Scappoose area? Is there a consumer credit counseling place near...
Brittany V. replied:
I would not recommend using a consumer credit counseling company that charges for their services. If you're a part of a credit union, most offer budget/credit services free of charge. If you're just looking for simple tips to improve your credit, Credit Karma has several blogs and offers an app that gives you weekly suggestions on how to improve.
