I have to say that Chewie LOVES spending a week at the kennel we use, Love My Dog Resort. We put him in half a day of daycare and he spends that in a house on the kennel property, where the dogs are allowed to sit on sofas (which he is not at home). He gets to play with lots of friends and they segregate the groups of friends by temperament and size. He always buddies up with another beagle and they send me pictures of them playing. They have a doggie water play park and you can add that on if you want as well. Sorry this isn't a pet sitter recommendation, but we really love that kennel

We are using Love My Dog over break...thanks for the recommendation Caroline Calcote! We toured it and signed them up for the rooms where they have a couch. They are not doing the traditional kennel (cages). I believe they are in those rooms the whole time except for their time in the play yard. Check out the website Courtney Rasmussen. We're taking them there for a free day of daycare tomorrow before boarding to get them used to it.
