Graveyard Fields is closed to overnight camping since the bear incidents of last year. Also there are definitely no cabins anywhere near there. Graveyard fields is right on the parkway, so the closest thing you may find will still be a good 20-40 minute drive from there. Brevard and Pisgah forest are probably the closest things? Maybe Balsam Grove? Lake Toxaway? If your brother's goal is to camp at Graveyard fields, there may not be a way to sate his desire with a cabin. Trust his bear skills -__^ They're not that bad, best of luck on your search though.

You can't overnight at graveyard fields anymore. There aren't any cabins up there either.

Nothing close. It's US Forest Service land. Your best bet is Brevard or down 276 towards Waynesville. Bears are an issue - and big cats. There is a reason they call it "panthertown"

Buy a couple $40 tents, a bottle of liquor, and some good mushrooms and just camp at graveyard fields. Youll have a blast I promise.
