You can also purchase your domain and hosting separately, then transfer your name servers to point to Wix or WordPress. I purchased my domain though gate.com ($9.99/year), and then got my hosting plan through asmallorange.com ($35/year). GoDaddy is $13/year for domain, and $60/year for their cheapest plan. The good thing is, you have a lot of options.
