If you want to do something that is cheap and closish to home try Le Camping in France. There are several camp sites close to the Channel and you can cross by ferry and drive only a few miles. It will be warmer than the UK and most campsites have on site things for the kids to do.

I definately would stay away from North Africa as a women travelling alone. Thomson Family holiday villages are great for all age children. We've been to several around Europe. X

I have only been on 1 real vacation and it was to Universal Studios in Fla. I was not thrilled and it was VERY expensive. Wherever u go, be safe and have a beautiful time withur family.

Menorca cala'n Bosch or Calan Porter or Son Bou, pretty much anywhere in Menorca is safe and family friendly, you can't go wrong!
