Whatever you do, avoid Dr. Powers like the plague. He did some horrible work on a cavity I had a few years ago that eventually resulted in my having to get the tooth pulled.

Thanks all! We were using Dr Pelateer at Sea Stone Dental and have had very unfortunate experiences. She redid an old cavity for me and it chipped after 1 month and I'm in pain. When I asked about it she initially recommended I use sensitive tooth paste. Then I asked her to check the filling she said she needed to redo it again. I didn't let her and left instead.

Robert G Beebe and anyone he hired to work in his practice. He's been on Dorchester (King's Grant section) since the 80 s and is a phenomenal dentist, with great skill at (and motivation for) reducing pain, etc. Best dentist I've encountered.
