If your insurance is what sets the out of pocket price won't it cost you the same everywhere that accepts your insurance? Valley Med is the "free" clinic if you want to pay as little as possible.

I used to go to Stanford and now I go to Palo Alto Medical Foundation. They're really great and I like that everything is together so any referrals or labs is really easy to do.

PAMF is alright, but not that cheap either. I'm not sure there's much you can do to keep costs down though - that seems to be the nature of health care.

PAMF is cheaper than seeing a specialist at Stanford...but not by much. You might seek out a place that has a sliding scale such as Gardner Health Services. https://gardnerfamilyhealth.org/

My granddaughters see Dr Lett and my children were with Dr Mehrotra...both are great.

I use to call on Dr Mohtra. He's a very sweet man & good doc.

Elisa McCarthy My best advice to you is express your concerns to her. She is not too good to hear your concerns I promise you that! And we her staff will ensure you are ALWAYS taken care of so I hope that the staff was a good experience for you! We have several who are 24 to 23 weeks now. We will give you A++++ care. PROMISE!!!!!! Sorry we had an off day but it does happen. And Lebanon office is SOOOO busy for us on Thursdays when we are there. May I suggest an early appt or 1 st afternoon appt.

Love, love, love Dr Lett! She literally saved my daughter's life 3 years ago & did it so calmly that we were in an ambulance going to Vanderbilt before I truly realized what was going on! That said, we also have seen & love Dr Wells, Dr Shepherd, and Dr Mehrota. They are the best - the whole group!!

My boys primary dr is Dr Shepherd. Wonderful dr and takes his time. We have sen all of the drs on your list but Mayzell and Hitch. We have been extremely pleased with all of them. Great group of drs.

My oldest is 13 and we've always seen Dr. Mehrotra. He is very soft spoken, great with the kids, and wonderful with the parents too! Takes his time and is always very detailed. And he had awesome nurses! If we can't get in with Dr Mehrotra, then it's Dr Kirschner for sure!

I really enjoy Dr. Wendy Hitch. My son has been with her since we moved here two years ago and she is great. Always helpful, nice, great when he is shy and nervous. The nurses are just as wonderful.

My Son sees Dr. Lett. We love her so far! And her nurse Kristina is always so good to us. My son just turned 1. Kristina has a lot of energy and interacts with my son very well! Dr. Lett is quiet and I feel would be a good match for what you are looking for. We have also seen Dr. Wells twice and she has also been a great doctor. She is not loud either so with seeing both doctors those are my experiences and suggestions. Good luck in your search

We have seen Dr. Mehrotra for 9+ years now and wouldn't go to anyone else. We can't see him, Dr. Hitch is our second choice.

Dr. Lett is great! My daughter who is 6 yrs old would not switch dr.'s when we moved cities. My 2 yr old son sees her also.

Dr. Shepherd is wonderful!! He has a quiet manner, but is very thorough with his exams. He's very kind and gentle. Our 19-year-old will go to him until they kick him out for being too old!!
