Shawnie, you know that old Suquamish Auto Repair space has been empty for a long time. It would awesome to have an auto repair shop owned and run by women. You'd get a lot of business.

Hi Shawnie L Jones- great to hear of another woman who steps beyond a role. for yrs. I've asked the tribe to consider using the old Auto Repair shop as a training space for mechanics- especially as folks (both men and women) on the recovery road need a place to learn a skill. I can see the next door area being a secondary training site for detailing cars which is a whole other skill. Olympia College or NW Indian College could be the go to for setting this up for proper accreditation. When my addict traveled the recovery road, being on time and clean urine was what mattered for a successful, non-traditional job.
