Hi Ruth. I take my cat's to Hugo Pet Clinic on Xi hai jei. It's just 2 blocks north of the swimming pool and next to Yolanda Yoga Studio. I don't have a dog but my friends who do recommend them. Most of the vets and techs speak English and are used to accommodating foreigners. I buy all my pet supplies from there. Oh, I just remembered across the street that the Neighborhood center on the 1 st floor there is a small, well stocked pet supply store that offers grooming also. The owner speaks English. You can do some shopping at the veg/fruit market while poochie get's a scrub too.

The vets came with their own translator. The number to call is 13862075620. The woman who speaks English is either Lina or Linda, I'm not positive.
