OH goodness! I can relate to this on a personal level. The nightmare of misplacing retainers. I recommend SS Dental Clinic. They are great, affordable and offer orthodontic services as well. They speak English, are professional and are a leading dental clinic in Suzhou. I had a great experience with them and also plan to go to them when my retainers need to be replaced. Much more affordable than the US or Europe. That much is certain. ^_^ Tel: 0512-6292 9757 WeChat ID: ssdc-62929757 24/7 Emergency number: 131- 8261 8281http://www.wearesuzhou.com/ssdc/

Hello... Any recommendations (or where not to go) for a reputable orthodontist for children? Suzhou would be great, or Shanghai is fine as well.
Jennie M. replied:
Anthony had a few repairs done by Dr. Sue at SSDC. I think she would do the entire job well. I have heard other good things about her, too.

We took Sydney to Pure Smile in Shanghai. They did a great job.

My advice is to have consultations with several orthodontists and see which one you are most comfortable with. You will be amazed at how different each doctor's ideas will be. We used SSDC, in conjunction with an American ortho, and Dr. Sue was fine though she would have taken a more conservative approach, removing teeth, and I'm glad we didn't. Good luck!
