Are you on sycamore school page as well? I’m sure if you scroll back, you’ll see problems exist wherever you go. It’s a matter of how much bs are you willing to deal with.. I have 4 kiddos that have been thru Dekalb’s schools.. This is my opinion... Lincoln has changed so much with demographics that I wasn’t a huge fan at the end, the teachers are phenomenal but can only do so much, founders was waaaaaay overcrowded and kids got left behind and not noticed even with parents attempting to intervene, Malta was amazing with previous administration can’t say much about it now bc of the new administration. I prefer Clinton Rosette over Huntley, though Huntley does a decent job with the amount of children they have. The high school is a complete and udder joke. Even with the new administration, if I could afford a different high school, I would. One of my guys goes to KEC because the high school was just horrendous with the previous administration. The new administration worked with the previous and not much has changed.

Every district has their problems! I grew up in DeKalb schools and so have my girls. We bought our house so our kids would go to Lincoln Elementary school. They are now in 8 th and 11 th grade and doing amazing! Just be involved at the schools!
