Both chiro clinics here in town have excellent reviews. I go to sylvan chiropractic clinic downtown and see dr. Kit or dr. Allison and have always loved it there. Dr. Kit has done lots of adjustments on my daughter too (she was really colicky) and i highly recommend them!

Dr Baker in red deer is really awesome! Intimidating to look at as he's a bigger guy, but really gentle! And he doesn't pressure you to keep coming back, it's only if you need it!

Are you treated by a chiropractor? I've gone to a chiropractor since I was little. My sister in law is Swedish and they were here for the summer. My 1 1/2 year nephew got bounced wrong on the trampoline and he stopped walking immediately. We didn't know anything was wrong for about 5 hours until he wouldn't walk anymore and he just kept screaming. They wanted to take his to the medical doctor but I knew the doctor would just give him pain medicine and tell them it would get better on its own. We argued about going for quite some time before I convinced them to take him to Dr. Smith. Baby Alex's right hip, knee and ankle and lower back were twisted. Cecilia was very trepidatious about allowing Alex to be adjusted but she held him on her chest and he was treated. It took 3 treatments and he was walking again. I don't even want to think what would have happened to his body if they hadn't gone. I was so upset when my brother and sister in law didn't want to take him. I was thinking his leg was never going to get better on its own. Just looking it up now the treatment is staying off it for weeks/months, rest/rehabilitation, ice/heat, compress/elevate, brace/crutches. I was so upset thinking about that active little bug not being able to roar around. The medical doctor has never been able to help me with headaches or back pain or sciatica when I was pregnant but the chiropractor has always. This caused a huge fight in our family Jeremiah & Cecilia are Now very happy that they took him but they said they won't be telling anyone in Sweden that they took him! 0~0 lol! I think they should tell people so it wouldn't be such a huge deal! Can you tell I feel strongly about it?! Lol! What are your reservations about taking your child?

We all go and have taken both of our kids since birth. Pregnancy was quite awful for me, SI pain. I wouldn't have gotten through either of them without Dr. Joelle. Our youngest had a traumatic delivery so his neck, shoulders, and hips were out among other things. Family First is amazing!

You don't have to, I took my son when he was born because he was a fussy, gassy baby. It helped for that. It can also help with ear infections, among other things. But really it's up to you whether or not you want to take them. Dr. Kit on Main Street is where we go, he's great!

I've had chiropractors that I didn't feel like do much. They made me really mad because they were $45 for an appointment. I like Dr. Smith because he actually manipulates my bones and doesn't just use that pressure point pusher. I require a really heavy adjustment because my neck and back get so tight and knotted. I am obese and have a huge chest and my chiropractor keeps me going. If my neck goes out gradually my back goes out, ribs, hips and then I start to walk on my left tippy toe. I'm so grateful for Dr. Smith. I would constantly be in a lot of pain if it weren't for him.

Check into Dr Hoffman. He is a neurological chiropractor and is amazing. He deals with stuff that regular chiropractors don't. He's actually going to be starting with Addison to help with her speech

I took my son once when he was little, down to Dr. Kit downtown Sylvan. He was great!

I also recommend Dr.Nicole at Care Chiropractic in RD.

My son had terrible colic. He would scream for hours so I took him to Dr. Senko at Coates Community Chiropractic in Red Deer. Four treatments and the colic was gone. My sister took her daughter to him as well.

We use Dr Kit or Corey too Carla Reid. Tony took Cohen when he was 1 day old, and went weekly for a long time:) it's just a little massage while baby lies on mums tummy...no cracking or anything scary ;)
