What type surgery you need? I work at Upstate and i work with different surgeons, i can recommend you some but it depends on what you are getting done? There is Dr. Tallarico, Dr. Emil Azer, there is Dr. Sullivan They work with sos too

Orthopedics East. Depends on what you need done, Dr. wiese is excellent and I’ve had 2 hip surgeries with him. He’s also great with knees and other large joints. Dr. DrChristina, his partner is great too with shoulders and other joints. I switched from SOS to them because I hated just being a number in the SOS system and wanted a smaller practice.

Upstate Ortho - Dr Sherman, the BEST - had my left knee last year and just had the right knee 2 weeks ago. Super results, Dr. Sherman is very nice young guy, very approachable, relaxed and skilled.

If you're having your shoulder done stay away from dr. Matthew scuderi he permanently ruined my life and I had to have my neck fused because he did the Reconstruction on my shoulder. Depending on the surgery and its severity Strong Hospital in Rochester is by far the best
