Abe's at Serendra, The Fort Taguig. Lovely kapampangan food. [Link](http://www.clickthecity.com/metro/?p=1404) Check out the [menu](http://www.munchpunch.com/3819/abe-restaurant-serendra/menu). The sisig and sinuteng na baby squid are must trys.

Greenbelt 5 for hip/classy. Or go to Tagaytay. There's this place near SummerRidge and the C2 branch there is pretty cool as well. Serve good food etc.

The RX 93.1 radio host Chico Garcia is quite a foodie, and he reviews a lot of restaurants, from casual to fine dining. You might want to check his blog: http://chicogarcia.wordpress.com/category/food/

Where is she staying? We like Fely J's in Greenbelt 5 Ayala Center Makati, though the ambiance is high end mall, and Chef Ludico's in Global City, Taguig. The latter has a fine all you can eat gourmet brunch on Saturday I think. 780 p or 1200 p or so if you include a steak. It's not a buffet, you can just keep ordering. The dishes are smaller in size so you can try a lot. You might also try Chef's Table at Infinity Tower on 26 th, also in Global City, since chef Bruce represents the Phillipines on the Asian Food Channel and might be recognizable. Haven't been to his place yet but we're planning to go soon.

Cafe Adriatico in Malate was nice. I haven't been there since the fire so I don't really know what it looks like now. Its more Spanish-y though. I've never been to [Bistro Filipino](http://www.cheflaudico.com.ph/bistro/menu.html) but I heard from friends that its good. Whats wrong with the restaurants mentioned? edit: added stuff

Bale Dutung is awesome. Pretty far from manila though, about 1 and a half to 2 hours drive away.
