You could search the posts on this tumblr for more, as there are quite a few other places that have it. http://taiwanlovescoffee.tumblr.com/

Just to clarify, is single-origin coffee used to make espresso based coffee drinks like cappuccino or latte, or is it typically only used for black coffee? I'm an espresso based coffee drinker myself. If black coffee isn't of very, very high quality, I get a headache, so I usually stay away from it. I'm certain that I've had single-origin coffee before, I just didn't know that I was drinking it. There were two coffee shops that I've visited that served the most premium black coffee with the best brewing skills that do pour-over, drip, and use chemistry science-like apparatuses (don't know what's the technical coffee term for them). Even though I'm not a black coffee drinker, I enjoyed their coffee and didn't get a headache. My body is sensitive and is the best critic for pointing out healthy or quality food and drinks. These two places are: Chamber Coffee (秘氏咖啡). Google Map below: https://www.google.com/.../data=!4 m5!1 m2!2 m1... & http://www.jaysuneatstaipei.com/george-house-fine-coffees... Not sure if they use single-origin coffee, but their black coffee is smooth and depending on which region of black coffee you order, it can be chocolaty or fruity. Sorry for rattling on for so long. Back to my original question from the beginning of my rant: Just to clarify, is single-origin coffee used to make espresso based coffee like cappuccino or latte, or is it typically only used for black coffee.

There sure are! Aura微光咖啡 in Taipei, and if you want Taiwanese single origin I highly recommend my friends at Claire Delights in Taidong.
I am looking for a good 1kg roaster. Any recommendation which is a good candidate?
