If you are looking to get a first time home buyers loan I would talk to Cynthia Thomas at AmeriFirst. One loan you can look into is the Rural Development HUD loan, there is no down payment needed and when you make an offer on a house you can ask that the sellers pay your closing cost... All together I needed about $1000 total to get into my new home but I ordered 2 extra inspections that weren't anticipated and that is where the majority of the money came from. As for rent to own properties I don't know anything about that. Good luck

If you want to speak to a realtor I would definitely recommend Debbie Kosec from Blue Water Realtor Group. She was absolutely wonderful and between here and Cynthia made the process a breeze. She will work with you and try to find whatever you may be looking for, rent to own, nice first home you name it. I can get you their contact information if your interested

I was referred to Sun Trust Mortgages to make an appointment. They will start with a checklist to see what you may need to work on (credit or how much you would need to put down) then they will tell you which loan options are the best that fit your needs. Then they help you find a realtor to get you started at looking at homes.

You need to call Ms. Phillips at usda in Marion. Also inquire about the HOP program. County also provides assistance. They built me a brand new home with no money down. All closing costs, inspections etc were paid by the first time homebuyer program.

I would start with the Tallahassee Lender's Consortium. They have info on down payment assistance, credit counseling, etc. http://www.tallahasseelenders.org/
Is there anyone here that can recommend a MTB Insurance company? How many of you have your bikes insured?
Sam M. replied:
https://velosurance.com/ Homeowner's may not cover theft or damage. Velosurance offers the availability of a multi-risk, stand-alone insurance policy allowing cyclists to insure their bikes for theft, physical loss, damage, and liability. My son has it on his road bike and they are about to buy him a new frame because the old one cracked. Try that with homeowner's.
