Tally friends, I have a friend who just moved here and is looking for a pediatrician for her one week old baby boy. Please tell me why you reccomend them.
Angie G. replied:
Dr. John Elzie. Amazing!! Behind CRMC, but goes to both. Professional park pediatrics 402-5454
Katie M. replied:
We love Tallahassee Pediatrics! We switched to their practice about a year ago and love them! They are super fast and everyone there is so nice and friendly. We see all of the doctors... we don't have a specific one. There has not been one we haven't liked.
Laura L. replied:
Dr Elzie with professional park pediatrics. He is so gentle and kind with the kids, he is super personable with the parents and he spends as much time with you as you need. The down side is you usually have a little wait to see him.
Kathy K. replied:
Dr. Jim Martin or Dr. Elzie! We have been seeing Dr. Martin for 15 years! Love the staff!!
Hey moms, looking for a GREAT pediatrician in the Tallahassee area. Only GREAT pediatricians, please. Side note- I smell cinnamon toast.
Sroda A. replied:
Dr. Elzie, Dr. Martin and Dr. Bunnell (Professional Park Pediatrics 402-5454)
Courtney M. replied:
Word on the street is Dr Elzie is great. Too far for me to drive so I never checked him out.
Casey Y. replied:
We see Dr. Joanna Yao. She's kind of loud and abrasive - just like me. haha!:)
Beth J. replied:
We also use Dr. Koeppel and she has been great with Madeline. The only downside is we have to wait awhile at every appointment, but I've heard they are making some changes to help with that.
Alright locals... need suggestions for a Preschool for Austin. He's only 2 but his Pediatrician thinks he would benefit from it. Besides the obvious quality care...
Leah E. replied:
We love Killearn Kids Preschool! Not sure of the cost for part time, but the teachers are wonderful. Www.killearnkids.org

Becky B. replied:
CHP - Gotta go with Dr. Dalrymple or Dr. David Jones!
Ok Tallahassee mommies, I need recommendations on a pediatrician! And I do not want one that is quick to prescribe antibiotics for everything. Don't get me wrong, I...
Meredith F. replied:
I should mention that we have moved to GA, so when we did live in tally thats who we had and for 3 months before finding a dr here. I would drive or call Dr. Koepell everytime she got sick. Thats how awesome i think she is.
Kristina M. replied:
Dr. Dalrymple at CHP! He rarely gives antibiotics, but is very thorough.
Lois S. replied:
I love Dr. Bunnell. He has only prescribed antibiotics twice in Hayden's 7 years. He is always available and nurses give great advice when you freak out about nothing in the middle of the night
Amanda F. replied:
Dr. Martin with Professional Park Pediatrics is awesome! PM if you have any questions!!!
Jessica S. replied:
Anna Koeppel North Florida Pediatrics
Sabrina E. replied:
Dr. Deed is great as well as the other doctors at the childrens clinic! That's where Kai and Nolan go, they've been awesome!
Meredith F. replied:
Anna Koeppel North Florida Pediatrics, is awesome. They have separate rooms for sick and well kids. Also they have a RN who answers phone calls all day. Thats all she does, she answers questions and tells you wether you need to come in or not. She was awesome for a first time parent who had a lot of questions at times. She would either tell you what to do or tell you to come in. Not to mention that Dr. Koeppel is awesome as well. Plus other RN's to where if Dr. Koeppel could not see your child that day but your baby is ill. You could see them instead of waiting for Koeppel. LOVE them!!
Jenna H. replied:
We go to Simmons at North Florida Pediactrics. Love it there! Wonderful staff and nurses. But..he is quick to prescribe antibiotics. I hear good things about Dr. Ness too! Plus the lovely Pandj Harvey works there now
Lindsey S. replied:
Dr Deebs!
Megan H. replied:
Lucas is with Dr Bunnell at Professional Park Peds. It's only been 5 months, but I love him so far. Alex went there as a baby and so did Danny lol. He is great and supports my crunchy parenting ideas and Attachment Parenting
Looking for good pediatrician recommendations. We have loved Dr. Koeppel, but since her office moved to the north side of town, it's a little inconvenient. Any good...
Sarah G. replied:
Dr. Martin at Professional Park was great!!!
Celeste C. replied:
I second Cody VanLandingham, we were so sad to leave him when we came back to NC! Right next to TMH too, very convenient.
Christine A. replied:
We love Dr. Elzie at Professional Park. They are by Capital Regional. He is in with Martin.
Tiffany C. replied:
We love Tallahassee Pediatrics. Dr. Cross and Dr. Mitchell.
Abby V. replied:
I second both Tiffany's recommendations and those for Dr. Cody Vanlandingham. We use Tallahassee Peds for the kids and love them. Any of the docs in that group are great. I personally use Dr. Cody and he is Fantastic and wouldn't hesitate to have the kids go there but for our existing relationship with Tal Peds.
Stacy P. replied:
Have used Tallahassee Pediatrics for Zachary. Good doctors and nurse practitioners.
I like Dr Lionel Henry because he lets me keep things natural with baby Emma and doesn't try to force me to change my mind on things that I think are unhealthy. His only downside is a thick Jamaican accent that makes it hard to understand him sometimes...See More
Kristen H. replied:
Dr Peele and Deeb are good but their front office people are NOT and in my opinion that is quite relevant because you deal with the office staff a lot!
Kara O. replied:
We go to Dr. Peele, he's pretty good. Sometimes the wait is long but that usually means that he had an emergency, otherwise it's not that bad.
Sandy D. replied:
I like Dr Deeb - holistic - or Dr Peele. Been in the business a very long time.
Elizabeth K. replied:
I use Anna Koepple. Love her!
Kristen H. replied:
Dr Anna Koeppel
Kristen H. replied:
Dr Koepple is very thorough and actually does care!
I know I've asked before, but we're really on the hunt now... Pediatrician recommendations for the Tallahassee area, either specific doctors or practices? We're...
Sarah B. replied:
We will be using Dr. Frank Walker. He was mine & my sisters pediatrician as well as all 3 of my nephews. The other doctor in his office (can't remember the name) is also great.
Sarah B. replied:
That's who it is. Dr. Koeppel. Both are really great.
Courtney T. replied:
The baby I nanny also sees Dr Koeppel. She is a friend of the family. She is SUPER great.
Jennifer B. replied:
Cody or Hugh Vanlandingham TPCA
Savannah S. replied:
Grace and I both use Dr. Hugh Whit Oliver, as he has a family practice.
Shannon V. replied:
Dr. Anna Koepel with N Fl Peds is excellent. The office is brand new too. They just moved.
