I am a tattooer, and this advice is based on my professional experience, and on my experience in having tattoos laser’ed (at one of the examples you provided and elsewhere): Seek laser treatment from someone who either also tattoos, works closely with tattooers, or who has a large portfolio of their treatments that you are able to see. Even if you have to travel elsewhere, it is my belief that it is important to have to work done by someone who has a comprehensive knowledge of how tattoos live in the skin, and who can provide examples of successful treatments to show you that you won’t be throwing money into a pit. I think Body Piercings by Bink off North Monroe is a good option. He's a registered nurse and highly reputable. Not sure if he pierces kids' ears, but I don't see why he wouldn't.
