If you or a friend does the flowers yourself, Mid-Atlantic Wholesale Florists in Alexandria is a great place to get flowers (saves a bundle!). We used http://benandsophiaphotography.com for my daughter's wedding and not only were they more reasonably priced than many others, but their work was incredible.

They are an FTD florist, so you can also use FTD coupon codes and discounts/gift cards. I've only had one problem with an order in all of these years, and they handled it superbly: my money was refunded and a replacement bouquet was sent to my recipient.

Her business is word of mouth and she stays very busy. She had a shop but closed during recession. She works part time for a local florist, but does her wedding business separately. They got lots of quotes and she was the reasonable.
