Dr Whitley

I've been seeing Dr. Thomsen since 1981. He never looks any older. I think he grew a beard to look older. Los Alamos does need more dermatologists.
Sally C. replied:
They are trying to attract another dermatologist to the practice so Bob Thomsen can retire.
Claudia B. replied:
Dr. Whitley!
Debbie D. replied:
Dr. Whitley is great, but hard to get in to see her!
Ali R. replied:
No joke when people said it would be hard to get in...with a referral the first appointment available was June! They gave me a number of another dermatologist who is currently practicing in Taos but will be opening up in SF early next year. That number is 575-758-3141 in case anyone else would find it useful.

Dr. Whitley!!
Kristie A. replied:
Where is Dr. Whitley at? Thanks!
Lissie H. replied:
Dr. Whitley is good but you will not get an appointment before February. Same with most in Santa Fe. We seem to have a major shortage here.
Does anyone know of a good dermatologist who is accepting new patients without having to wait six months???
Shelley O. replied:
Danekah see's Dr. Jeanne Alvarez at Clinicas Del Norte in El Eito! She's excellent. Not sure what your looking for but Danekah had really bad acne and she's cleared her right up. Wait time is about 1-2 weeks at most.
Ali R. replied:
I had the same problem earlier this year and found Dr. Good as well. Went to see her in SF and really liked her. She also has an office in Taos with possibly shorter wait times.
Michelle C. replied:
There's not one that I'm aware of. The problem is UNM has 2 dermatologists graduate each year and they're often from TX and return to TX. If it's a lesion of the face that needs a biopsy, Dr Shepard at SWENT is great. He has special training in plastics and does beautiful work.
Christina M. replied:
This Dr. has an office in SF, http://highroaddermatology.org
Nancy B. replied:
Dr Good at High Road Derm.
Toni C. replied:
I go to Linda Taylor at MANNM
Claire B. replied:
I just got an appt in October at Dr Goods in Santa fe. They accept BCBS. They also have a board certified PA in Derm. I have been here a year and the lead times are tough.
Kristin C. replied:
I go to Dr. Vosburg
Mary U. replied:
My daughter and I both go to Linda Taylor at MANNM. Love her.
