Ian A. replied:
Karen, the Dentists are awesome. I'm not sure they'd be the cheapest but I can tell you right now, when it comes to my teeth, I don't want cheap I want bloody good and The Dentists are just that.
Amorangi T. replied:
I go to Nath Chilukuri (07) 3787540 - used to go to THE DENTISTS - Difference is: the PRICE: if it's a BASIC HOLE IN YOUR TOOTH that needs fixing? That speed drill - actually makes *no* damned difference to THE PAIN - the COST to say...numb you and your tooth? is a couple hundred more....when in reality....you really do *NOT* need the INJECTION - TRUTH!:) - I know - I thought I would faint without an injection, which I feared more!lol....no diff....and dentists TODAY - actually know, how to NOT hit a nerve!! which for the best part of thinking - I guess they should blardy know NOT TOO - after so many YEARS OF parctice!! - GUESS - they ain't gonna tell clients this aye! - I love me teeth:)...
Her books full but someone else in here recommended Laura Stutz who is now my dentist 3780024, 108 Tuwharetoa St. Apparently her husband Bruno Stutz is a good dentist too.
Would anyone have an idea on how much it will cost to get a wisdom pulled out ?? Or a good dentist to go please

Highly recommend "The Dentist". Had to get an extraction and I was very nervous! They assured me I would feel NO pain and before he even started he done several tests...
John M. replied:
Was wiggly, an ex root canal gone brittle so no pain. Not a wisdom tooth either. My previous extraction required stiches as gum needed cutting to get it out.Was a young chap with Stutz at the time. .. 250 dollars... Beware " The Dentist "
John M. replied:
I still continue to warn as many as I can about "The Dentist " and you are not alone in disbelief at the cost of a 7 minute extraction. That was when they came to Taupo about 9 yrs ago as well. Being a 20 yr old, are you still under govt subsidy?
John M. replied:
Good for you Jayme, but once bitten, twice shy--- Heed my word, Beware " The Dentist "
John M. replied:
Even after all this time, I still wish I had gone to the Dental Assoc of NZ. Beware " The Dentist "

whos a good dentist in taupo and not to over priced? got a lot of work I need done but don't wanna break the bank
Amy P. replied:
I can reccomend Bruno Stutz Dental. However they aren't the cheapest. I'd say normal price of a dentist. If you talk to the dentist they let you arrange a payment plan as long as you can commit to it. I saw both Bruno and Laura and they both are lovely to deal with.:)
Hey, is there a dentist that will let you open a account & pay off? Were new to Taupo lol
Nicola S. replied:
Pretty sad when it's still cheaper to travel to an out of town dentist. South Waikato dentists in a Putaruru (an hours drive away) let you pay off although still not cheap $120 for a checkup and clean and fillings are around the same price maybe more.
