I had to work yesterday (and not at adoption day volunteering) so maybe I am speaking out of turn...our Have a Heart clinics are full but if you did go there, we still have vouchers from a special program Supervisor Scrivner has given to us to hand out . You do have to drive to Rosamond for the neuter/spay at South Kern Vet Hospital but its actually a better option for male cats and small dogs. The voucher covers $70 off of dog surgery and $35 or $40 off of cats. Male cats are only $40 and small dog neuters are about $75 or $80 so depending on your animal type and size, it can almost be free if you take the drive there. smile emoticon We recommend calling that vet and seeing how much your surgery would be (after you tell them your pet info) and then you will know going into the surgery how much you will owe after you subtract the voucher amount.
Does Tehachapi have any other walk in health clinics besides from Omni? I am extremely disappointed with their facility and service. I DO NOT recommend!!
Is my best...

Omni Family Health on Mill Street. It was horrible and I was there for over 4 hours, and the dr had the nerve to laugh at me. Thank you

I don't know of any other walk in clinics up here. It takes at least 2 weeks to get an appointment even at my primary care Dr. I would suggest going to Bakersfield if at all possible. The only other place is Tehachapi Hospital.
ISO best veterinary clinics in town that won't cost an arm and a leg. I have 3 small/medium dogs that need shots and a check up. TIA

Tehachapi Vet Hospital does shot clinics the THIRD Saturday of every month. This month's clinic is THIS Saturday. I believe it starts at 10 and ends at 4. No appt. necessary; just go stand in line. All shots $10 plus needle disposal fee of less than $2. For a check-up, you would have to make an appt.
