Shayne Wooldridge over at Tehachapi Tattoo is solid and honest. Jimmy Bertram is well, Jimmy. You can't go wrong with him. Jojo Akerman is also crazy good and friends with Jimmy. You also have Gary Kosmala up in Oregon who is unreal. Fact is, there are a lot of tattoers who can do what you want. You need to meet with them and see if that person works and feels right. Take your time.

Watercolor tattoos are a very specific style, it's good your researching. I had some watercolor added to some script on my arm, a shop/artist on the Blvd in Lancaster

Well, if you want realistic looking animals, Adam at Pretty In Ink is fantastic. He did my shark and manta ray and they're gorgeous.
