we stayed around the corner from siam and it was packed every time we went by, and never got a chance to eat there - that's a good sign. they also had live outdoor jazz. across the street/parking lot/blvd is a small neighborhood bar. i kept wanting to go but was always distracted by other events, but it's on my list for next year: http://www.therebars.com/ThereBars.com/Home.html
