Terry Knighton at The Knighton Center. I've had appointments and I've just been a walk in. I've never felt rushed or unimportant. He never acts like he's got to hurry to his next patient. I've never had a long wait either. Even as a walk in.

Genius Primecare off college drive is who I use for my pcp. Under Medicaid it's Dr. Hogan. I use Stephanie Hickerson and she is fantastic; she's a np tho. The staff is just as great and they get to know you on a personal level, which makes going to the doctor easier. Highly recommend them. Genius Primecare also does pediatric, dental, pregnancy, and behavioral health.

If you have TX Medicade it will cover everything, OB, PCP, dental and vision. I'm 30 weeks and have used it for many things so far.

Don't use Hickerson. I tried to tell her about nerve damage in my back and she refused to listen. My counselor had to send her a letter stating she was concerned that I had nerve damage and it needed to be checked. Only then did she send me for testing. Sure enough, I need surgery. She never tried to find nor send me to the neurosurgeon. I also told her I had a family history of diabetes and requested to be tested because I was having signs of them. She again refused. I changed to Dr. Nash on Summerhill. He did diabetes testing and sure enough, I had them and have had them for at least a year.
