Cheers to anyone who has had lower back pain successfully treated in Texarkana by a chiropractor. I've been to two orthopedists, but I don't want surgery. No meds help....

Dr. Wages did wonders for my back
Marsha B. replied:
Dr Woosley...hands down the absolute best I've ever used.
Dayla S. replied:
Myofacial tissue release therapist. Yvonne Irwin. She's the only one that's been able to help my husband. He's a retired bullfighter. It may take a few visits but I've not met anyone she couldn't help. Chiropractors are good but unless you address the soft tissue you are wasting your time.

If you decide to have surgery, go to Texas Back Institute in Plano. Or go for a consultation. They don't just automatically think surgery right away. They try other options first.
Stephanie W. replied:
I have had a lot of back and neck pain from whip lash and spent thousands of dollars at chiropractors. Best help i have had is massage therapy by dianns therapeutic massage. My husband went to Dr. Bookout, went to Dr. Martin for acupuncture, went to Shreveport to try the injections, did not want to have surgery. But eventually because even pain meds were doing no good he went to Texas Back Institute and had surgery. Up walking and totally pain free the next day. That has been several years ago. He has occasional stiffness but still pain free.

Dr. Chris Primeaux(870) 777-3100 he's in TXKA Tuesday/Thursday. He doesn't file insurance anymore so $30 or $40 if you sit in massage chair (on ice) after adjustment. If he doesn't think he can help you, he will not touch you.
Diane K. replied:
Dr Dan Martin at Northfield Clinic.
LaRanda C. replied:
Dr Primeaux is in Hope, AR on M-W-F but you may be able to get late afternoon adjustment if you are in a bind. I live in Hope and will drive to TXKA if I'm in a bind and he's always happy to oblige. His office is at his home so don't be alarmed. He's legit just not willing to fight with insurance after the craziness these days.

Lauren Allday. I ended up needing surgery but she got me through the before and after. And I greatly respected how she stuck with me even though my injury was more severe than she could address with just chiropractic.
Shelly S. replied:
Have you looked in to Precision Spine Care. My husband had steroid injections years ago that did not work, Dr in Shreveport told him last summer he would have to deal with the pain, nothing could be done for him. He went to Precision Spine Care and so far the procedure they did last week has helped. He had radiofrequency nerve ablation. You can see a video of procedure on youtube.

Dr. Ritter in shreveport. I broke my wrist 5 years ago in a car accident and I'm still dealing with the aftermath of the orthopedic department at Collum and Carney. There is no one in this town I would trust. Dr. Ritter is a hand and wrist specialist and she has been able to find the problems with my wrist when the doctors in this town said I was fine.
Sheryl M. replied:
Dr. Ellis Cooper at Orthopedic Specialists in Shreveport is awesome. He specializes in hand & wrist problems. I recently had finger surgery done by him to fix a two year old issue that was not dealt with properly here at C&C. Definitely check out the specialists in Shreveport -- they are all fantastic!
