Dr. Rachel King is wonderful! She is a pediatrician as well as a Family doctor. I see her & so do my young children. Her office is located just inside of Ashdown, but it’s a quick 15 minute drive from Texarkana.

Its important to have a good pedi for our kids. When I was in Texas I had one option...Ahec.. I got so fed up I took my kids to the pedi clinic in Mount PLeasant. Some great doctors there. extremely kind, helpful, and caring about the development and wellbeing of both my kids. When we moved to Arkansas we were able to stay local and start going to collem and carney. Ive learned through the process that if Im not happy with my sons doctor; that if I feel hes not getting the care he deserves, to just change doctors till I find the best fit. You shouldn't have to put up with doctors who don't care about your kids, rush you, and are only out for a pay check. Its good when you find a doctor who truly does care. I love being in Arkansas. Childrens Hospital is one of the best, in my opinion, in the country with the absolute best doctors. If your child is really sick that's where they need to go.

My kids use Dr. Green at Collem and Carney. Hes a great pedi very thourogh in his work, professional, and caring. My son is handicap and making sure we have a good doctor who cares about his development and wellbeing is vital to his care. Collem and carney is great bc they have the night clinic bc if your child spikes a late afternoon fever or gets sick you can still get seen instead of waiting till the next day. Ive seen a lot of doctors in Texarkana and weve even used the Pedi Clinic in Mount Pleasant. Word of caution stay away from Ahech. They will not take care of your child like you want or give the attention you aspect. Youll see anyone but YOUR doctor most of the time ; unless things have changed but I doubt they have. If you need anymore help Ill be glad to help.

I don't trust anyone but Dr Cindy Porter with my kids. she has been a God send to our family since day 1. The only one I WOULD NOT recommend is Green. Personal reasons with treatment, but I wont say anything else out in a public forum on that subject.

I am also recommending Dr. Cindy Porter. She is absolutely wonderful with our 7 month old. She treats him as if he is her own.. we are always able to get in to see her at the drop of a hat. I highly recommend her!

Both of my grand babies use Dr. Green and my daughters love him.

We have a daughter woth some extra health needs and we use Dr. Green at Collum and Carney!

Mt Pleasant is so worth the drive for us. Same day sick appts everytime I have needed them. We love Dr. Henry!

Dr Calloway is the best pediatrician I know of. My son had mono over the summer and we had no clue what was going on with him. I took him to see her and she knew exactly what is was and tested him for it and that's what it was. Even the hospital didn't diagnosis him correctly.

Dr. Green is a good doctor but he cancel's advanced appointments and doesn't notify the family, he's always out of the office it seemed like. However he is professional minus those things. I just switched my two kids from dr. Green to genius primecare on college drive. I've heard nothing but good things about the pediatric department. I use the adult staff and doctors an they are great, i know my kids will be just as taken care of.

Dr Zachary King is amazing!! Will never go to another but been through several before we found him!!

Dr.Annie Baker at B Pedicatrics is by far the best in Texarkana. Dr.Porter and Dr. Rachel King both kept saying my daughter had an ear infection. Well I decided to start using Dr.Baker. Our first visit we found out it wasnt an ear infection, it was a busted ear drum. Thank goodness she found it before my daughter lost hearing in that ear. Also, they both kept overlooking her stomach issues. Dr.Baker didnt. My daughter was so impacted she was throwing up and lost 10 lbs from it. She sent us to the GI dr in Little Rock and we got it all straightened out. They also overlooked my daughter being sick with cold type stuff and said just respiratory. Come to find out she had walking pneumonia. Once again, Dr.Baker found that!

Love love love Dr. Green! At Collom and Carney Never had an issue and very thorough and Nurse Kay is the sweetest!

Cindy Porter is awesome. I do not recommend Green but everyone has their opinions.

If you dont mind the drive mt pleasant pediatrics has wonderful doctors. Well worth the drive. I have used almost all pediatricians in tk and love mt pleasant. Dr Henry is who we use but they are all great.

We also go to the Pediatric Clinic in Mt. Pleasant. My girls who are 12 and 15 see Sue Droske. They have been seeing her for years. My 2 month old sees Dr. Salgado. So far we like him too. I didn't put him with Sue because she only there Monday and Tuesday.
