There isn't anything in The Dalles open after hours, all their message machines will say go to Dove Lewis hospital in Portland. Maybe Hood River has an emergency vet?
Lynda M. replied:
The Pet Dr's won't help you. The ones on Kelly. We called them in the middle of the night when our dog was bleeding out both ends in the middle of the nignt. They don't take night time emergencys. I called The Dalles Veterinary clinic and the met us at their office immediately. Needless to say....they lost a customer. I'll never go back. Your dog or cat can only get sick when its convenient for them I guess.
Julia M. replied:

If you can't find someone local-- Northwest Vet Specialists in clackamas might be the fastest route and they are open 24 hours (take 84 to 205 south, took us a little over an hour driving like crazy to get there) 16756 SE 82 nd Dr, Clackamas, OR 97015 (503) 656-3999 Bring a credit card - they treated my dog late at night a few weeks ago and it was crazy expensive, but it was worth it to see her happy and healthy once she was stabilized. They were very nice and completely on point. Sending you prayers, I hope your furbaby is okay!!

I adopted my anxious and poorly socialized 3 year old dog 5 years ago when I still lived in Portland and got wonderful help from Club K-9. Out here I have called Cascade Pet Camp and got great advice. After all of these years my dog still improves, so don't give up if you can avoid it.
Iso good vet for small animals. Need something reasonably priced. Or if anyone knows someone personally that'd be great private message me if you have someone.!

Columbia vet hospital. They are the best and most reasonable cost wise. As far as my experience has been. They came to my house for my dog. He passed at home where he was comfortable and relaxed. They sent me flowers when another one of my dogs passed away as well. The kindest people to humans and pets.
