I use Nutraquin, after the first tub it lasts me around 6 months. I pay my vets £68 for it. That's £130 per year, you would end up paying more than that for a product that lasts less time and isn't as effective. If you still want to look at other options the lintbells yumove horse is one I've heard good reports about. https://www.viovet.co.uk/Yumove_Horse_Joint/c20759/?quick_find=154659&gclid=Cj0KCQjwp_DPBRCZARIsAGOZYBR32DmbdHHsMB_n2 xu2 sBz-jJvLmrXJWtZBaav_E_6 sRDyWAjCNOOMaAn-IEALw_wcB

Horses stay on Klunk–Klik for a couple of months, then may have one bag a year, but this one, once crippled, hasn't had any for over five years. https://www.facebook.com/jksherbs/posts/10152666981537729
Amanda B. replied:
Arcequine for repair and long term maintenance. NAF Superflex as a supplemental support - it contains glucosamine sulphate (not cheaper versions like many others use) and is clinically proven to help repair and maintain. Also consider the bigger musculoskeletal picture as a good stretching and exercise regime will help areas that your horse may compensate with. Feel free to message me https://www.facebook.com/459854140841527 A2B Equestrian if I can help with any of the above. X

Andrew Mellor vets at Norbreck. I changed to him recently and he was amazing. I have a special dog and Andrew took the time to listen and explain many things without rushing. This was the first time for many years that I felt totally confident that I could trust him to look after my mutt.

Laura M. replied:
We use Andrew and Carlos too never thought my bill for our dogs on the high side not like our previous vet ...
Sam G. replied:
I am a manager at Norcross vets. Yes we are open 7 days a week and charge the normal consultation price for our surgeries which we run each day. The receipt says 8 pm on a Sunday which is out of hours. Most vets in the area don't work Sunday at all and would send you to their out of hours providers which are either Lytham or Preston and I believe their charge is around £130. Andrew Mellor adoes his own on call, but I am not sure of his fees. We always try our best and will see any animal at anytime. I am sorry if you feel you have been over charged. I can honestly say our prices are extremely comparable with all the surrounding vets.
Chelley T. replied:
We use Norcross Vets and can honestly say they are fantastic. Our pooch has needed emergency treatment a couple of time ( once for stealing and eating a whole Thornton Dark chocolate Easter Egg) and they were amazing x they are very caring there and you can't put a price on that or service.
Bernie S. replied:
Andrew Mellor looks after our pets reasonable priced and really good and careing
Kathryn S. replied:
I have always found Norcross vets to be very reasonably priced, and not only that but I trust them. We moved there from a practice that my family had been with for decades on the basis of one consultation with Andrew. His dedication and devotion is mirrored by his whole team and now I just wouldn't go elsewhere.
Kaz S. replied:

Jacqui S. replied:
Wow that's a lot for a consultation but it is Sunday. Just because they're open 7 days doesn't mean they don't charge s premium for the days other vets are closed. My dog has been at Norcross vets since I got her and they are absolutely brilliant but I would question the consultation fee and if it's right I would before moving ask the he's vet what they would charge on a Sunday x

I live in Cleveleys can anyone recommend a good, tried and tested vet please. Thanks.
Steve S. replied:
Hi Anne, there are several you can choose from.......there is vet for pets on vic rd west....norcross vets on norcross lane.......Norbreck vets on Norbreck rd......Moy vets on hillylaid rd in Thornton
Anne-Marie C. replied:
Andrew Mellor on Norbreck Road. Small personal practice, people travel miles to use them, speaks for itself. Both Andrew and Carlos are very good and know me and my pets so I rely on them to make the best decisions for them. At the end of the day, if people have a bad experience with their vets (and it happens to us all at some point) they lose faith and go elsewhere. It's about finding a vet that you are comfortable with and who you trust. x
