The Olivet college has a planetarium. Its $3 per person and holds up to 50 people. $30 minimum. There's a cartoon talking about stars and constellations, and at the end they light up the "sky" and show all the constellations. Joliet Junior college has one as well. I believe it's free.

We live in MO so we, too, get to The Falls or PP 3-4 times every year. The Falls is very handy with everything close by and yet you are off the strip so it's quiet. We have 2 places we always eat when there: Dana's BBQ (I have the fried catfish, very good) and breakfast@Billy Gail's is a must - go hungry!
