I am head of the small animal side. We have an amazing facility for small animals - in fact I started with Avondale as a Locum Vet in the summer and was so impressed with the facilities and staff here that I moved my family from Aberdeen and took up a full time position. I'm sorry you've had a bad experience with us Lisa, I would be interested in the details to perhaps help and prevent it happening again in future. PM me. We pay a great deal of attention to keeping abreast of current best practice - both in terms of the facilities in place and the treatment we provide. For instance Nikki one of our Vets has a particular interest in cats and additional qualifications in feline medicine. Hi Zoie - If you are having problems with your pup please ring Nikki Stubbs she is our behavior councilor and is just in the process of finishing her European Certificate in Animal Behaviour. I'm sure she can help. With regards to your comment about a particular vet making rude and unpleasant comments - that was a locum. She didn't stay long and won't be back - I am still picking up the pieces. The young(ish) man to whom you refer is Matthew. He is indeed an excellent vet and a valued member of the team.
