Stansbury Animal Hospital. I won’t take my dog anywhere else because when she was a pup, doggy style groomers hurt her pretty bad. Ed Barb Hansen is great but I felt so bad she had to put up with my dog getting so freaked out every time. She would be very gentle and loving with your pup though.

I am very picky about where I take my Yorkies. Barb Hansen has been the only person I have felt comfortable ever leaving my fur babies with. 435-882-7731. Kim Symonds Cunningham also has yorkies and takes them to her.

Actually I've been really spoiled the last 5 years. We lived in Northern AZ, until Oct. 2013. The person who groomed my cat worked at Best Friends Animal Society in Kanab, UT. Don't know if anyone's heard of them but it is a fantastic no kill shelter with about 2000 animals. Her job was to groom cats at the shelter. Alot of the longer haired cats there have grooming issues and can't take care of their own grooming. One if them had his tongue cut out. He could still eat, but no tongue to groom. The animals there are largely ill with kidney disease, feline HIV... incontinence etc. I volunteered there very often. Cats was probably my favorite place to volunteer. Anyway, the groomer did have a studio in her home where she did cats only on her evenings and days off. She did a fantastic job and she would have the owner stay & help her hold & move the cat around. It is much better for the cat if they don't have to deal with total strangers.
