If you like cutesy stuff or desserts, I liked Milky Way Cafe. Their sundaes are cute and there is a nice view of the street. It's not the best ever but it's a cute place to take a break.

No specific advice personally, but I would go to Tabelog and search for things in that area. Anything over 3.5 stars will be quite good, and they have really good categorization/filtering for food type/price/etc. If your girlfriend can read Japanese, there are pretty extensive reviews available there, too. Tabelog gets a lot more traffic than we do and is populated by natives, which is pretty ideal.

Shisen Hanten (四川饭店) on top of the Tobu dept store (I think 12 th floor). Its Iron Chef Chen Kenichi's restaurant. The menu sets are great or just get a big bowl of mapo tofu.
