Another vote for Beverley Wing who is a McTimoney Chiropractor. Samantha Rodwell for Physio. Celine Holliday for Sports Massage. Iain Pringuer for Osteopath. I've used them all and can personally recommend. They're all very different things so depends what you need

Can anyone recommend an Osteopath? And also, why pick an osteopath over a chiropractor? I desperately need my back sorting out.

I'm based at the Brook Health Centre. Happy to help. Have a look at our fb page BACK at EASE Osteopathy and Pilates Therapy for more info if you get chance. There are reviews from patients about how we treat and help with rehab and some helpful back pain research articles on there which lots of our patients enjoy (theres a great 12 min bbc podcast about back pain research and what we know works which you may find interesting which I put on a few days ago) . Re - osteo/chiro/physio tbh, we're all very similar these days with subtle differences depending on the practitioner but we all focus on getting you out of pain and rehab'd to stay feeling better and are degree based trained. The "NICE" government guidelines for how to manage back pain include all 3. Their origins, evolution and roots were from different places (osteo/chiro from america originally, physio started in uk) but we all share evidence train and share techniques and skills now under the manual therapy and rehab banner. Happy to have a chat if you'd like to know more but hope that helps. Other local guys you should be able to get in with quickly are physio wise are Marion Thom's team @towcesterphysiotherapiy based at Towcester medical centre, other Osteos locally are Julia Mason at Wellbeing fitness, Amanda Manuel at Working Bodies as mentioned above (Liz Soames is there too who's an experienced sports therapist), Victoria shaw is at Towcester Therapy clinic and Chiro at Back to Katie Back To Balance that I know of, there may be more. All the best and hope you get feeling better again soon.:)
