I have previously put on a photograph which shows the shop in 1913 - https://www.facebook.com/photo.php?fbid=218919161475465&set=o.128512377223461&type=3&theater It is not one that I have researched into any great depth It appears to have been William Gardner's chemist shop in 1851,Thomas Everest's grocers shop in 1861 and Samuel Tite's Chemist in 1881. In 1871 the occupier appears to have been William Simmonds professor of Music and his wife Emma who dealt in fancy goods.

Arthur Edwards sold and repaired both bicycles and motorbikes and had his shop on the High Street and a separate entrance in Park Street for the workshop. His brother George had his own cycle shop just about the traffic lights where Green's Antiques have one of their shops now.

When we first came to Towcester (17 years ago), we couldn't get into a NHS dentist and tried Mark Langdon - Jones at Shire Court Dentists. Excellent service, never looked back and wouldn't use anyone else.

James at Shire Court is excellent, been going there for 10 years & highly recommend him.
