TC peeps: Looking to replace my current primary care physician. Who would you recommend and why? Thank you!
Dawn G. replied:
Susan Lehman, Bay Area Family Care! Love her. Been her patient for almost 15 years!!! Very friendly, excellent bedside manner, thorough and direct. All three of my kiddos go to her as well.
Amy T. replied:
I saw Dr. Lorah Wright for years and LOVED her. I just heard that she retired at the end of 2013, but a friend that had also been seeing Dr. Wright is now seeing her replacement, Dr. Nancy Reye, and loves her too. In her words: "She is fabulous! Has two school-age kids, great reputation, extremely personable and is on it as far as my health stuff." Good luck!
Mariah C. replied:
Dr. Gary Ruoff. Excellent bedside manner, worked with me and my more natural health preferences without being judgey, and I think he's genuinely concerned about his patient's health. Can't say enough good things about him.
Julia S. replied:
I see Jen Lyon at Creekside Clinic...she's family and sports medicine....has helped me with my hip issues.
Christine R. replied:
Andrea Essenmacher DO at West Front Primary Care. Very friendly, knowledgeable, refers when necessary, can usually see same day for urgent needs. If not, then one of the other many physicians in the office will. Friendly office staff, they love my kids and my kids love them. Bonuses are late office and Saturday hours and they don't close for lunch.

Ruth A. replied:
Gee whiz, Deb, you don't ask for much! ;) I really liked Mike Carroll at Creekside Clinic, but I don't know about all that vitamins/minerals stuff.
Amy C. replied:
Heidi Sorensen-Biglin?
DeAnna M. replied:
Dr. Wilcox. I don't have hyper or hypo but I have an enlarged thyroid and he checks it regularly. He also has tests run regularly to make sure I'm ok.
Amy C. replied:
Debbie Rysso - see the note that I tagged you in on my timeline from Heidi Sorensen-Biglin. Thanks, Heidi.
