My sister has dog-sat at other peoples homes for relatively cheap... She simply goes, makes sure they are fed, walked, gone out to piss, and so on. If you are interested, inbox me, and I can let her know.

Honestly, the best thing that has worked for me in the past (both ways) is a teenage neighbor that you trust.

Doggie Latchkey is a fantastic service. http://doggielatchkey.com/ They are trustworthy and do a great job. They will setup a time to meet you and get to know you and your pets before your first trip. They even send daily reports when they visit (if you want).

Not sure what part of the city you are from, but I know my family always uses [Pet-Villa in Walker](http://www.petvilla-walker.com). Very nice, clean place and is also a new building. Check them out it will be worth it if you're not too far from this part of town!
Does anyone have recommendations for a pet sitter in the Troy area? I need someone willing to drive about 5 miles south of town to check on my cat three or four times...

Anyone have a recommendation for a good local kennel for a high-anxiety dog- like where they sleep overnight with the dogs? Or anyone local who is home pretty much all...
