I'm desperate, since I almost died from kidney failure a few weeks ago, and my general doctor, Troitino, off of Hoosick, has refused to do anything despite my many ER...
Deborah R. replied:
Dr. Asma Arif, based at Seton Health(Hoosick Street) is an excellent gastroenterologist.

I personally had to take my mother outside of this area to get her stable. She was dealing with Troy doctors and so forth. She is now doing excellent with new meds. Dr Karen Crowe seems to be on target for bone issues. When it comes to my health or my family I will seek outside the spectrum. Inbox if interested and good luck!
Ann E. replied:
After you take care of your gastrointestinal issues, check out Core PT in Guilderland and Clifton Park for help with your arthritis pain and sciatica. Unique approach -- heard about them from many. Amazing for lower back/hips.
Barbara D. replied:
For your stomach Dr Robertson in troy
Frank O. replied:
God bless all of you, for you certainly care more than my so-called family. I've found in these utterly miserable last 2 years, that family isn't always blood, but more spiritual. Big shout out to Dennis, and Stacy for your love, and being REAL family & Dan Borden! This last guy was gold to me today....a true fast friend!
Alison M. replied:
Albany Gastroentrology(sorry for the spelling) Associates. They have office's all over the place. As for pain management and your back, Dr Carl from Albany Med. He can be a real ass, but he's the absolute best in the area.
Does anyone have a great GP that they'd recommend? My doctor's office has dropped so many balls recently that I think i need a change.
Lynn K. replied:
I have a good GP but he is over 70. Dr. Bertram in Delmar.
Stacey M. replied:
I had a great one with Latham Medical Group. Dr. Samantha Ludwig. problem is if shes not available you might get one of the other ones and they are not all that good. Most are not bad though.. just never see the FNP Mance.. She wasn't people friendly
Kathi B. replied:
Stacey- What made her good? My doc's office (I've been going for over 20 years) is like a factory. They became part of a larger group- Prime Care Physicians a while back and have been sliding for a long time. They order serious tests and don't get back with results. They've called the wrong prescription in to pharmacy for me, failed to call when blood work turned up a problem (I didn't learn of it until my next sick visit) when I happened to mention that I'd like the results for my records. They hire people at one particular hospital to do rounds so you never see them in hospital and are limited where you can go- the list goes on and on.
Joyce C. replied:
I have a primary dr that I see for physicals and in case I ever get sick. He's average. For advice on how to stay well, I consult with my holistic doctor - Ann Tobin in Delmar. . . I don't get sick very often.
Anna P. replied:
I see Dr. Dalzell in Braverman Panza's practice. I have been happy with her. I can get in the same day if I am sick and see the PA who I also like. I don't know if she is accepting new patients. My husband sees Dr. Giuliano. Solo practitioner. He has been very happy with him.
I love it when my brides use my recommendations because everything always turns out fabulous! The Tardis cake was incredible and Christine was awesome. Thank you...
Who's close enough to a doctor that they can help me with a problem? Muscles keep cramping up a lot. I drink water and Gatorade a lot. So dehydration doesn't seem...
