Owner of the dog got in trouble and won't be home for a while very sweet and tame dog, I just won't be able to manage her. Tyler, TX must be gone by the end of the...

Fill out the rehome request at www.spcaeasttx.com. Do you have owner's permission to rehome? The other option is to contact Tyler Texas Animal Control to notify them that dog has been abandoned. They have a Facebook page.
My daddy found him off of FM 2015 and we've spent the last month trying to find his owners but no one has come forward. We really cannot afford him. He needs to see a...

If you could raise the money yourself to get him neutered and vetted that will help his chances of being accepted into somebody's program so they can network him. Snippet clinic in Tyler is amazing! Just $60 to neuter and $65 to spay dogs....and $65 for their annual vaccines, heartworm test, and microchip. So, just $125 to get him up-to-date and fixed - but of course flea treatment is extra. http://spcaeasttx.com/spay-and-neuter/
Taking suggestions for a new Vet. South Tyler area, needs to be reasonably priced and open on Saturdays. I prefer straight forward country style vets but Dr. Spence is...

@Laura I left Glenwood when Dr Wilson went to the zoo. I didn't care for Waters either. Dr Wilson had to correct her a few times about refill requests and selling me cat mouthwash. I liked Buchanan also. Dr Maris is a sweety and so is Dr Kathy with my cats.
Cindy P. replied:
Dr Waters and her husband are now in Austin preparing to be missionaries. Quite a career change
Cindy P. replied:
Dr Buchanan sent me to Dr Maris for an advanced eye exam after Stosh was shot. They worked closely on his case. I liked him- I don't think you can go wrong with either one
Angela H. replied:
Dr Wilson and Buchanan set me to Dr Maris for a dental issue with a cat. You have the best Tyler vets on your radar.
Cindy L. replied:
Dr. Carlson (Kathys husband) would be a good choice. He operated on my foster. She loved him. He's at the Shelley Drive clinic.

Dr Maris is an awesome Vet.He took care of two of my dogs with cancer. My Vizsla had a very difficult surgery with a lot of aftercare. He included me in all of her ultrasounds and pointed out things and explained everything. Dr Kathy took excellent care of my Frenchies! A lot of the time I was in there often and they gave me discounts. Dr Jon Carlson is great too...and yes...he is a Labrador man! I have known Gary Spence for over 17 years...he has gone downhill over the last 7 or 8 years due to personal problems ...and he can be an a$$ at times (excuse my language) ...just sayin' A lot of people I know are using Dr Borah on Hwy 64 west across from the airport and like him...say his prices aren't too bad.

Love Dr. Buchanan. But they aren't open on weekends and will NOT let you pick up your pet because they aren't there - which they are because they have to feed them! Otherwise - wonderful! I think we've built a new wing for them, though, with all our dogs!
Cindy L. replied:
If you have Labs, I would go with Dr Carlson, since he knows the breed. My personal vet loves Heelers & has owned many, which is a great help. (He tolerates my Rotties lol) IMO, it is always best to go with a vet that knows & loves your breed!
Cindy P. replied:
I use and trust Glenwood Animal Clinic. And I use the same fabulous boarding kennel Mary does
Laura R. replied:
Thanks everyone smile emoticon I've got some calling around to do at lunch today. Cindy- is Buchanan still at Glenwood? I know Wilson retired and I don't particularly care for Waters. Angela- I do adore Dr. Maris, he's definitely in the running. I used to use him until I found Spence. (never should have left)
Cindy P. replied:
Waters isn't there anymore, Dr Buchanan is, Dr Wilson just works at the zoo.
