Javan Spitting cobras are much smaller and usually a dull brown all over in Bali... They are found all over Bali... King cobras here often reach 5 metres... They have a distinctive pattern but are only found in West Bali..

We were reluctant to move it too far and luckily Dr Bayu let us use their facility in Tabanan, to operate on it.. Prognosis about 40/60 at this point.. I will write a full report later.... Just got home after long long day

I highly recommend Pak Rai; he'll come to the house so your pet is more relaxed at a familiar environment, very professional & experienced, and affordable price as well. Esther, as a rescuer, you may be able to have him stay at The Bali Dog Halfway House. There is a daily fee that is required to cover costs and once well will need to be advertised for adoption, if you can't keep him. There is someone there 24 hrs to oversee the rescued dogs and is cheaper than boarding at a vet. If you are interested, look on their fb site for contacts.

Vaccination and steril can go to Barc in Pengosekan every Monday 1 pm and skin-fleas, I always go to Ubud Vet in Andong, cheaper than Sunset vet
