Is Jersey City too far for you? The Eye Center which is across the street from Christ Hospital, on Palisade Ave, is great! We took Sophia there twice when she was an infant because her eye needed to be checked (which luckily turned out to be fine!) and they were really good and nice. They take children and adults which was awesome! Hope this helps:)
