I think you cannot do the same by going bank to bank yourself. You are only one borrower. A mortgage broker represents hundreds or more borrowers. With the volume of business he brings, he has far more power to negotiate a good deal than you could do on your own. You can't go wrong with Mortgage Israel and Adam Siegel.
