Can someone suggest a preferred homeowner's insurance company for the Heights? Having some difficulty binding coverage due to the high fire area. Thank you!

Lexington Insurance has a program that is competitive for high value homes and offers a deluxe EQ rider that offers better coverage than CEQA provides.

We had a similar prob when we bought in 2011 with the added whammy of being unoccupied/construction for a year. So needed a special policy. Great American was the only company that would write the policy. We were able to convert it to a regular homeowner/property policy last year. David Cutting on Euclid Av was the agent that set it up for us.

I was able to secure insurance today through Cardenas Insurance Services, Rancho Cucamonga. Contact: Christina Cardenas (909) 483-0667 just in case anyone should have a need. The premium for the binder was $890.00. I received another quote for the same property from Lloyds (??) for $3,028/yr. through another broker. Interesting info as I was not aware of any issues. Thanks for all your help and replies.

Looking for insurance agent licensed in California. Please message me if you know of a good one. Wish I could continue working with mine here but they are not licensed...
