I really enjoy Yoshi-hachi's you can find directions and hours on okinawahai.com it's of 23 very close to both Foster and Kadena

I've heard New Port is delicious and more affordable than Yoshi's but o haven't tried it

The only sources I've seen for fresh lemongrass are Kadena commissary (I almost always shop at Foster but have never seen it there), growing your own (easy to do), or ordering through importfoods.com.

Do you mean Okinawa soba or Japanese soba? I will assume Okinawan... in that case grocery stores, DonQ, etc sell these Okinawa Soba "omiyage" sets (omiyageお土産= souvenir). Very convenient for sending. For just yourself, grocery stores also sell fresh noodles in the refrigerated section. Also some restaurants, such as Awase Shokudo あわせ食堂 sell fresh noodle, too. Another place selling nice Okinawa soba kits is Gabusoka Shokudo 我部祖河食堂 (small chain of soba restaurants, http://www.gabusokasoba.com)

So there is a meat place by the/at the Hamby town San A or close to bovinos I think is call ivanos. I'm going g to try to find it today if I do I'll message you

Ladies, besides some grocery stores carrying international ingredients and foods ( Big Aeon mall ), or usual spice/tea stores, there's no specialized Indian stores on the island. Indojin.com is an online specialized grocery site. Shipping to Okinawa is around ¥1200.

I really like Taiyo Steakhouse for special occasion dinners. Their filet mignon and lobster bisque are on point

Steak Ryu in Onna is the best. Very traditional Okinawan dining experience and upscale. It's amazing. I think that's what Donna Joelle Stewart is referring to as well.

The Kadena O club has a great salad bar at lunch time. Monday's especially!

Orion Beer Restaurant at Rycom! It's in a standalone building outside by the book store. They have amazing salad!

Jai Thai also has vegan options. Just don't get the curry, not even the vegetarian curry. Shrimp paste.

Rockers Cafe is really good!
