Roto Rooter who did the first one did not completely replace all of the pipe and what they did it it dropped down in two places. The guys that supposedly replace it by pushing a new pipe through the old said they have to dig a trench and redo it. I have bids from A-1 Waterworks, Advanced Trenchless, and Sewer Connection, Inc. I am going to get two more and then make a decision.

you don't need engineering for those, at least not for plumbing. If you're building in vancouver you'll need one for the sprinklers but the sprinkler fitter usually takes care of that. I really suggest you get a general contractor if you are new to this, if you don't know what you're doing you will definitely blow your budget.

Is it a large house and/or extravagant design you're looking for? Are you managing the build yourself? Most general contractors will have their own people (in-house or contacts) able to sign/seal drawings for electrical and plumbing and won't charge a whole lot if it's a typical build.
